We built Peru’s first Public Health Center

In 2016, we built CESAPU – CENTRO DE SALUD PUBLICA, Peru’s first Center for Public Health: A pioneer community public health center that focuses on prevention, promotion, and education of health in the low income communities in Trujillo, Peru.

Our approach is 3-fold:

To expand access to primary & preventive health services.
To foster healthy habits through interactive community programs.
To train the next generation of public health professionals through volunteer programs.

Our mission is to equip vulnerable communities with knowledge, tools, and equitable opportunities in order to improve their social determinants of health.
